Marisa Yerkes, LMSW, CTP

Hello and welcome! My name is Marisa.

Do you find yourself in a never-ending rat race of pursuing achievement after achievement, always pushing for more and more and wondering when you will be “good enough?” Does it seem like life never slows down, and somehow there is always more—being smarter, more dedicated, self-sacrificing, faster, stronger, better? I specialize in supporting high-achieving adults in harnessing the compassion and power within themselves to live their dreams and chase their goals, all while feeling whole and fulfilled. I understand that self-doubt, comparison, and criticism are powerful forces that can take a serious toll on your mental health.

With compassion and empathy, I support my clients on journeys of self-acceptance and growth, helping folks from all walks of life find new ways to understand and address the impacts and root cause of their thoughts and behaviors. I utilize a holistic approach, emphasizing the importance of addressing the brain and body connection for true and lasting change.

Creating a nonjudgmental and comfortable environment is my top priority. I am committed to working with you at whatever point you are at, by partnering with you to create a personalized and unique treatment plan that addresses your priorities. Whatever your background or concerns, I wholeheartedly believe that all people have the inherent strengths and ability to change their lives. Sometimes, we all need a little bit of help to point us in the next direction.
